The BRS lounge will have a petting corner where the public can meet and interact with some of the cats.

The show will be open to the public all day and is scheduled to end at 4 p.m.

During the morning the cats will be judged in their different classes, while at approximately 3 p.m. the main event, the Best in Show judging will take place.

At this point, the best cats from the different sections will compete against each other to determine the section winners and possibly the best show at the show.

A number of Gauteng judges will officiate at the show.

Around 150 entries are expected and various breeds will be on display including Persians, Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest Cats, British Shorthairs, Burmese, Siamese and Orientals.

A number of lesser-known breeds such as Burmese, Siberians, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Sphynx, and LaPerms will also be featured.

A few cats of the Don Sphynx breed, the last breed recognized for shows in the organization, will also be on display.

There will also be a section for unregistered pets.
